This Basic Pistol shooting course will introduce you to firearms and provide the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary for owning and using a pistol safely. The course includes classroom instruction, practical application, evaluation, and a range qualification shoot. During this class, you will learn Safe Gun Handling Techniques, Pistol Knowledge, Fundamentals of Shooting, Shooting Positions, and more.

What will be provided (no cost): NRA Pistol Course and Completion Certificate that meets Virginia’s Concealed Carry application requirements, Pistol and ammunition, and lunch options.

Students should bring their own: Eye and Ear protection (electronic suggested)

Course Fee: $165

Deposit: $45

Time: 8:30 am to 4:30 pm

Classroom Time: 6 Hours

Range Time: 2 Hours

Required Round Count: 100 Rounds

Course Description: Complete the NRA Basic Pistol Shooting Course and satisfy the requirements for a Virginia Concealed Carry License at the same time.
